I recognize that my home and Humanist Coaching's primary place of business are located on the unceded traditional territory of Indigenous Peoples, including the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe and Neutral Peoples. I acknowledge the enduring presence of the Indigenous people with whom we share this land today, their achievements and their contributions to our community. I value Indigenous traditional knowledge about how to live sustainably on this land that we share and will leave for our future generations.

A percentage of the gross profit from Humanist Coaching revenue, the majority of which is gained through activity conducted in the Haldimand Tract, is donated annually to Indigenous Food Circle Waterloo Region to support their initiative 'working to restore the land and creating community 1 x 1' and to Indspire for their work supporting Indigenous student success.

Furthermore, I acknowledge that the bodymind somatic approach central to my practice is deeply rooted in Indigenous healing traditions that were historically suppressed and penalized by colonial systems. I am profoundly grateful to the Western pioneers and teachers—see list below—whose work has been essential to my training and helped me return to these truths. In honouring them, I also seek to bridge that training with an honest recognition that these interconnected ways of healing are not modern discoveries, but ancient wisdom that has existed since the beginning.
